Vanderbilt Kitchen Expansion
A small original kitchen in this Vanderbilt home was renovated by expanding the kitchen and relocating doors in the existing layout to maximize the use of the space. The original door into the bedroom was repurposed into a spice and liquor cabinet, the island was made out of custom walnut fronts on Ikea cabinetry, and new lighting and controls were integrated throughout the apartment. The original flooring was sanded down and stained into a natural white oak finish.
